TERMS AND CONDITIONS

ORDERING OPTIONS

We accept orders from Canada and the U.S.A. only, we regret that we cannot accept International orders at this time due to restrictions.

On-line Ordering - Go to our Online E-Store to purchase products and make a payment via PayPal. We do not keep any of your personal or credit card information once the order has been processed. The company owner (Jill Macanuel) is the only person having access to the telephone/fax machine (see ’Privacy Policy’ for more information). We recommend making your payment online through PayPal, as they are highly respected and offer excellent security and protection, as well you will receive your order sooner. Before sending the online payment for your order or selecting ‘PAY’ (registered PayPal users only), please review all information for completeness and accuracy.

Ordering Via E-mail:  Send an e-mail to orders@sedimintbath.com with the items you wish to purchase and we’ll reply with order confirmation and total purchase price including shipping, handling and taxes (if applicable) and instructions of how to send a postal money order (cashable in Canada) or cheque payment.

Back Orders - We do not keep a listing of back ordered items, so you will need to reorder out of stock items at a later date. 

PRICING/PAYMENT

Pricing is in U.S. dollars as we use PayPal U.S. at this time. We use PayPal for our online payments as they are highly respected and offer secure and excellent services. We hope you will choose this payment method and register as a member. We do not charge a fee for using PayPal.

We do not accept Collection or Cash On Delivery (C.O.D.) orders.

Exchange rates change from minute to minute and banks use different rates when converting to or from your local currency. Credit card companies also may add a percentage to the market rate. If you are purchasing a high priced item where the exchange rate difference could be significant please check with your bank.

For U.S. Customers:  Your credit card company determines the exchange rate based on their policies.

All pricing, policies, terms, agreements, and conditions are subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right to refuse service.

SHIPPING

Important: We do NOT ship C.O.D. (Collection on Delivery - or - Cash on Delivery)

Orders Within Canada:

We recommend choosing Canada Post’s Expedited Parcel Service which includes both insurance and tracking services as this method of shipping protects us both. Delivery using this service is much faster than if choosing regular parcel and you will receive an e-mail delivery notification. If you prefer a less expensive service choose Regular Parcel Service, which includes damage insurance but not the tracking service. Therefore, SediMint Bath will not be held responsible should your order go missing in the post. The carrier will normally deliver up to an estimated 2 days (local urban centres) and from 3-15 days (regional, national, remote locations). They will deliver directly to your door, however if they can’t deliver directly to your door you will then receive a pickup card to receive your parcel at your nearest postal outlet.

Redirection of delivery of your order to a new address is automatic and at no extra charge, but only if you have filed a “Change of Address Notification” card with Canada Post (in Canada only).

Orders to the United States:

U.S orders are to be shipped via Canada Post Expedited Services only.  This service includes insurance up to $100 CAD, e-mail delivery notification, and a tracking service which protects us both. When we ship via Canada Post, once it reaches U.S. customs, the order is then transferred to USPS for delivery and pick up.

Redirection of delivery to a new address is not available for orders to the U.S.A. Please allow 1- 7 weeks to receive your order by post. Orders may take approximately 2 weeks, however, it could take longer depending on when we ship your order and other numerous factors of the shipping service.

Orders to the U.S. may be subject to duty and possibly additional charges applied at the U.S. border - all such charges are the responsibility of the customer and will likely be charged as C.O.D. in exchange for your package. It is the customer’s responsibility as the importer to learn your country’s import regulations (see customs link below).

Please note for orders exceeding $200.00 (USD) please include your Tax ID number or Social Security Number on the fax order form or in the comments box on the online checkout form for U.S. Customs purposes.

Import Information for U.S. Customers: Your credit card company determines the exchange rate based on their policies.

International Shipping (Excluding U.S.A.)  - We regret that we can not accept International orders at this time due to restrictions.

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

Any cancellation of an order must be done within 24 hours after placing an order and must not have been shipped. To cancel an order send an e-mail to orders@sedimintbath.com. For order cancellations made within the 24 hour period via e-mail, where payment choice is postal money order or cheque, your order will be cancelled immediately and you will receive notification by e-mail of the cancellation. After the 24 hour cancellation period, the order MAY have been shipped and can not be stopped. Please e-mail us to find out if your order has not shipped and can still be cancelled or if you mistakenly created a duplicate order that should be cancelled.

To receive a reimbursement of charges for a cancelled online order where the order has not yet shipped, you must have a PayPal account. All transactions are processed through the secure PayPal site. Through PayPal we will have the purchase order amount deposited back into your PayPal account.

The credit card processing companies charge us a percentage for every order that is processed by our web site. In addition to that, they charge us an even higher percentage for every return we do. If we are unable to void the orders you placed, you will be responsible for our costs incurred, up to 20% of the total amount of those orders. Therefore any cancelled or duplicate orders where items need to be returned will have a 20% restocking fee applied so you will be reimbursed for only the cost of the product plus any taxes (if applicable) that were applied but LESS the 20% restocking fee and shipping/handling fees.

RETURNS/REFUNDS
We want you to be happy with your order from SediMint Bath, but since we recommend that the customer thoroughly check their order and e-mail address if gift giving for accuracy and completeness before making the payment, that you really want the product(s), and to ensure to click the payment button only once, we will only accept returns on products shipped in error by us and cancelled orders that have been approved by our office and that have not yet been shipped (see: Cancellations).

DO NOT SEND BACK ITEMS until you have contacted us via e-mail using the orders@sedimintbath.com address and received approval from our office and instructions on how to package returns for safety in transit. Using the original packaging is preferred. We require notification by e-mail within 24 hours of receipt of wrongly shipped items sent by us. SediMint Bath owner must pre-authorize all returns. All returns must be pre-authorized no later than 21 days of the date of the invoice and received no later than 7 days from the return-authorization date. If the return is not due to a mistake made by us on your order, there will be a 20% restocking fee deducted from the return. Returns that are not due to a mistake made by SediMint Bath are not refunded shipping costs. We cannot accept expired or opened product for return. If you refuse to accept your package and it is returned to us, we will then charge you the shipping/handling fees and a 20% restocking fee; the balance of the sale will then be returned to you.

DAMAGED OR LOST ORDERS

DAMAGED ORDERS:

We do our best to ensure that your product is packed and will be delivered safely. However, on occasion, the contents can show signs of damage without the box showing signs of damage. Please be sure to inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If, for any reason the box has ANY signs of damage, DO NOT accept the package. If you receive your order and it looks damaged, DO NOT OPEN it until you are in the presence of a Canada Post or USPS worker for inspection purposes. Keep the original packaging plus any inspection documents. All lost or damaged claims with insurance are to be handled by the carrier. Please note that claims can take up to a year to resolve and the carrier insurance covers ‘goods’ only, they will not reimburse you for any other costs. We MUST conform to the carrier’s claims policies in order to receive reimbursement. Keep ALL inspection documents. Contact our home office within 24 hours of receipt of damaged goods for instructions on how to proceed or to make a claim yourself, phone 1-888-550-6333, 1-800-267-1177 or e-mail www.canadapost.ca.

Make sure you have:

1. Proof of mailing, showing coverage: e-mail notification sent to you.

2. Proof of postage: e-mail notification sent to you.

3. Proof of value: invoice from SediMint Bath sent with your order.

4. Any non-recoverable provincial sales tax (Canada only): on invoice from SediMint Bath.

LOST ORDERS:

NOTE: USPS legally has 30 days to deliver your goods and Canada Post legally has 90 days.

For lost orders with tracking service: www.canadapost.ca. then click on TRACK A PACKAGE link then enter:

1. Tracking number: enter # from shipping label or receipt.

2. Delivery Notice Card  Number is made of 15 digits. It can be found on the notification card you received in your mailbox.

3. Reference number: By default, Canada Post is tracking for matching Reference numbers in the last 14 days. You can enter a different Start date and End date to display the Reference numbers during the chosen time period.

For lost orders without tracking service:

Contact our home office within 24 hours of receipt of damaged goods for instructions on how to proceed or to make a claim yourself, phone 1-888-550-6333, 1-800-267-1177 or e-mail www.canadapost.ca.

Make sure you have:

1. Proof of mailing, showing coverage.

3. Proof of value: invoice.

4. Any non-recoverable provincial sales tax (Canada only).

PRIVACY POLICY

The information you provide to SediMint Bath and Body Products Co. is confidential and protected to the fullest extent possible. SediMint Bath owner will not disclose or distribute customer information to third parties without prior written consent by the customer. We do not keep any of your personal or credit card information once the order has been processed. The company owner is the only person having access to the fax and telephone answering machine. We do not collect personal information about you unless you choose to send us an e-mail, fax, fill in and return our company survey, enter our continuous improvement contest, or place an online order, in which you voluntarily provide your name, contact and survey information . Visitors' personal information received via e-mail or collected on the web site is provided only to SediMint Bath’s owner to facilitate the processing and shipping of orders and statistics. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
